My buddy swore I'd regret getting a short box over a long box for my collection

I started buying comics six months ago and everyone at the shop said get a long box for space. I picked a short box instead because it fits under my desk better. Now I'm already sorting through stacks on the floor, so did I make the wrong call or should I just grab another short box?

Grabbing another short box worked better for me since they stack easier under my desk.

Oh man, short boxes drive me nuts for that exact reason. But don't they get annoying when you need to dig through three of them to find one specific book? I've got a couple stacked under my desk too but I always end up pulling the wrong one out first. Do you keep all yours for recent pulls or do you actually sort them by series or publisher?

@jakewhite yeah the digging through thing is real lol. what worked for me was switching to those short boxes from lcbs that have the handles on the side. makes it easier to slide the one I want out from a stack. I sort by publisher mostly but then do alphabetical inside each box cause I got tired of hunting. honestly I still have a couple boxes that are just random recent pulls piling up cause sorting takes forever.
