My pull list method was backwards for 3 years

I always sorted my comics by publisher then title, figuring that was how the store did it. Last Tuesday I was rearranging my long boxes and realized I kept reaching for stuff by character and creative team instead. I was making it harder to find what I actually wanted to read, not easier. Now I group by writer first and it takes me half the time to grab something for a re-read. Has anyone else switched their filing system and felt like an idiot for not doing it sooner?
