Overheard a teenager say 'Page turners are slow' and it hit different
I was at a small comic shop in Akron last Saturday and heard this kid tell his friend that reading physical comics takes too long compared to scrolling. It made me realize how many younger fans might skip the actual reading experience for quick online summaries. Has anyone else noticed a shift in how new fans approach stories versus older readers?

Buddy of mine runs a shop in Cleveland and he said a kid asked him if there's a speed reading app for comics. Just wanted to skip to the big fight scenes.

That kid probably meant scrolling through summaries online, not the actual speed of turning pages.

Did they mean physical pages turn slowly or that reading itself feels too slow for them?
