Rant: The one back issue I hunted for 9 years finally got a reprint

I chased a 1997 X-Force issue for 9 years, ever since I sold my original at a flea market in Portland for like $4. Prices online were always $60 or more and I just couldn't justify it. Then last month they announced a facsimile edition for $5.99 and I grabbed it without thinking. Has anyone else given up on a grail only to have it show up in a bargain bin form?
