Took me 5 years to stop bagging and boarding every single issue I own

I used to be that guy who would put EVERYTHING in a Mylar bag with a backing board. Even dollar bin junk from 1993. Then last summer I was reorganizing my long boxes in my basement in Portland and realized I had like 400 bags on comics worth maybe 50 cents each. Now I only bag my key issues from the 80s and anything graded over $20. The rest just sit raw in boxes and honestly they're fine. Has anyone else stopped bagging their lower value stuff or am I the only one who went overboard?

Did you keep all the bags and boards from the ones you pulled? I just saved mine and relabeled them for new stuff coming in.

Nah I toss all that stuff. Takes up too much space in my place. Plus I've seen how some of those boxes get beat up in transit. Not worth the hassle of trying to reuse them when a new box costs like two bucks.

Laughing at myself here because I've got a whole closet full of those bags and boards from past orders. I tell myself I'm being organized but really I'm just a hoarder with good intentions. Every time I think about relabeling them I end up just buying new ones anyway because the old ones have that weird crease from being folded for months. My wife keeps threatening to throw them all out when I'm at work and honestly I might not even notice.
