Trying to share my love of comics with my teenage nephew
My nephew is 14 and really into video games, but I think he'd enjoy comics too. Every time I bring it up, he just shrugs and goes back to his screen. I even bought him a couple of graphic novels I thought he'd like, and they're still sitting on his shelf. It's frustrating because we used to bond over stuff when he was younger. Maybe I'm pushing too hard, but I see it as a way to connect. Has anyone had luck getting a reluctant family member into comics? What worked for you?

Isn't this getting a bit overblown? @price.ray's idea about game-based comics might actually work.

Man, I see this all the time where people try to force their own hobbies on someone else. You gotta meet him where he's at, which is clearly video games. Maybe find a comic based on a game he already loves, that's how you bridge the gap.

My nephew Tommy got a stack of X-Men books from me last Christmas. He ignored them until I grabbed a comic based on that FORTNITE game he plays. Now he asks ME about new issues, which is a total win.
