Did a night dive at a dam in Oregon last week for valve inspection

Checked my dive computer logs after and realized my bottom time was 14 minutes less than last year on the same exact job at the same depth. Turns out the water temp dropped 6 degrees and my air consumption went up 18%. Anyone else notice their gas usage change that much just from colder water?

Nah, that's just a bad regulator or you're breathing too hard lol.

Man, I feel you. My buddy had the same thing happen on a dive trip in Florida last year and it was the regulator the whole time after we checked everything else.

Wait, did you just get SCUBA certified from watching YouTube videos or something? Bad air or a leaky O-ring sounds way more likely than user error unless you were literally hyperventilating. Sounds like alicecraig is trying to save face by blaming your lungs instead of the gear.
