Just realized the navy says its saturation divers max out around 1,000 feet
I found that number in a Navy diving manual PDF while looking up something else, and it stopped me cold because my deepest working dive in the Gulf was only 140 feet, so now I'm wondering if anyone here has actually worked past 300 or if that world is just a different trade altogether.
Did a 320 foot bounce dive off a sat bell in '09 and honestly the jump from 140 to 300 wasn't the hard part, the weeks in the chamber were. If you ever want to cross over, get your mixed gas ticket first and it'll feel like a normal job with more math.
