You're right about the skin irritation. I used to think it was just about the gear, but that sinus burn is a real teacher.

Okay, but have you ever been so tired after a dive that you just want to get the gear off? That was me last week, and let me tell you, my sinuses paid for it. That final rinse gets all the salt and gunk out that the soap misses. Skipping it is just asking for a crusty, smelly hat and some serious skin irritation later. Learned that lesson the hard way, obviously.
