Blown $400 on a pump that just couldn't handle the mix

I bought a cheap gas pump off Craigslist for a slab pour in Phoenix, and it clogged solid after 20 minutes - ended up hauling wheelbarrows for the whole job. Has anyone else had luck with those sub-$500 pumps or are they all junk?

Yeah depends on the place honestly, like if it's a proper barber who actually knows what they're doing vs a chop shop that rushes you out the door. And @the_brian is right that $450 for 15 minutes stings no matter how you slice it - next time just ask upfront what the cut costs and if they can do it in the same time, that's the move.
