Client told me my broom finish looked 'too aggressive' and I had to rethink everything
Ngl, I was using a stiff push broom and really leaning into it until a retired finisher in Phoenix told me I was scarring the surface. Switched to a medium-bristle broom and started using lighter passes, now the texture is way more consistent. Has anyone else gotten weird feedback that totally changed their technique?

Maybe too aggressive just means the customer wanted smoother concrete, not less work.

Oh man 100% this. Had a guy once say my finish was "too rough" and I spent an extra day hand troweling something that was perfectly fine.

@shane_hayes probably would've told me to just use a leaf blower when I was fighting the broom lines on my first driveway job.
