Ever tried putting a gravel base down first to help with drainage? I've had to do that a few times, then let it sit for a day or two before even thinking about concrete. Did the client give you any other options to work with?

Sometimes you gotta work with what you've got. A little water isn't always a dealbreaker if you prep it right.
