Hard decision: Said no to pouring concrete on soggy soil for a garage floor. Client was mad, but was I right?

Man, you 100% made the right call. That's a rough spot to be in with a client mad at you.

Ever tried putting a gravel base down first to help with drainage? I've had to do that a few times, then let it sit for a day or two before even thinking about concrete. Did the client give you any other options to work with?

Sometimes you gotta work with what you've got. A little water isn't always a dealbreaker if you prep it right.
