I hit 40 yards of concrete placed in a single day on a big pour last week.
Always thought that kind of number was just for the big crews with fancy gear, but we did it with a solid team of four and solid planning. The boss said we beat the old site record by two yards. Anyone else ever surprised themselves by hitting a number they didn't think was possible?

Yeah, the right four guys thing is dead on. We poured a foundation for a garage last month, just three of us. Got 25 yards down before lunch. Felt impossible until we got into a rhythm.

Honestly, is that really a surprise? Good planning and a tight crew always beats just having more gear. The right four guys can outwork a messy crew of ten any day.
