Tried a new magnesium float on a garage slab versus my old steel one

The magnesium one left a way smoother finish with almost no lines, and it was a lot lighter to push around all morning. I was skeptical because it cost about $40 more, but the result was worth it. What's your go-to finishing tool for a smooth interior slab?

Yeah, and it's wild how often people fight the right tool because it costs more upfront. They'll struggle for hours with the wrong thing to save twenty bucks, not counting their time or the messed up result. It's a weird pride thing, like suffering is part of the job. Really it's just bad math and a worse finish.
