Heard a guy at the gas station say 5G towers cause bird deaths

I was filling up my truck this morning and this older guy next to me started telling his friend how 5G towers are killing off all the sparrows in his neighborhood. He was dead serious, said he counted 12 dead birds under one tower last week alone. Anyone else run into these specific claims about birds and 5G before?

Keep a ziploc bag in your glovebox and grab a couple photos if you ever see something like that... documentation is the only thing that stops people from calling you crazy. Had a neighbor who swore he was seeing bats dropping dead at dusk near a cell tower until someone finally went out with him and filmed it.
