I tested the 'chemtrail' claims myself with a $12 thermometer and a cheap timer, and the data did NOT go how I expected
I got into an argument at a BBQ in Bakersfield last summer with a guy who was dead sure every plane overhead was spraying us. So instead of just yelling at him, I did a dumb little experiment for 5 weeks. I logged plane crossings over my backyard at the same time each day, wrote down the temp and the cloud cover, and took pictures of the sky right after each one. Here's the part that bugs me: on 9 of those crossings, the sky went from clear to streaky within 40 minutes, and it lined up way too neat with the flight path I saw. But then I checked the actual weather data from the airport and the sky was already set to get hazy that same afternoon, plane or no plane. So I can't tell if I caught something real or just proved that clouds do their thing no matter what. I'm not saying I buy the full story, but I'm also not saying I can explain why those streaks showed up right on schedule. Has anyone else actually tracked this stuff instead of just repeating what they heard online?
