Just changed my whole keyword strategy after a client called me out
They told me I was ranking for terms nobody actually searches for, so I spent last weekend rebuilding everything around their exact search queries from analytics. Has anyone else had to totally scrap their approach after getting direct feedback like that?

Right? That's the kind of wakeup call everyone needs though. Sucks to scrap all that work but way better than ranking for dead terms lol.

What made you finally decide to pivot away from those terms? Did you see some data point that clicked or was it more of a gut feeling after watching performance for a while? Kinda curious what pushed you over the edge to scrap it all.

Nah, I'd argue your old strategy was fine and the client just didn't get how keyword research actually works.
