My uncle in Reno told me the moon landing was faked and I realized I could not explain why he was wrong
Last weekend my uncle in Reno brought up the moon landing at a family dinner and said the flag waving proves it was all shot in a studio. I tried to argue back but I could not remember the actual reason the flag moves, something about a wire and no air resistance. He pulled out his phone and showed me a clip with 2 million views and I had nothing ready. It hit me different because I always rolled my eyes at these debates but now I get why people fall into them. What is the simplest way you explain the flag thing to someone who trusts videos over NASA?

The flag looks like it's moving because the astronauts are twisting the pole to get it into the ground, and with no air up there to slow it down it just keeps swinging. I used to think the videos were proof too until someone walked me through that part.
