Remember when the Denver airport murals were just weird art?

I was there in 2015, just passing through, and saw the 'Blue Mustang' statue and those creepy murals. Back then, I thought people reading conspiracies into them were just having fun. Now, after years of seeing every little detail picked apart online, I can't look at that place the same way. It feels like the whole idea of 'just art' is gone for a lot of public stuff now. Do you think some places are just magnets for this stuff, or has the internet changed how we see everything?

Yeah, it's like that with everything now... my local library put up a new sculpture last year and within a week there was a whole online thread about it being a symbol for some secret group. It feels like we can't just have a weird-looking horse statue anymore, it has to mean something bigger and darker.

Wait, that statue killed its creator?

Heard a sculptor friend got a nasty shock from a faulty light inside his own metal owl piece.
