After 8 years of paperwork, I finally switched to punch list apps for good
I used to track everything on printed checklists and a clipboard, thought digital was for office guys. Then we had a 14 unit remodel in Austin last month and I missed three callbacks because my paper got soaked in the rain. My superintendent handed me his phone with a punch list app and showed me how it flags overdue items by location. Took me two days to get used to it but I caught a plumbing issue before drywall went up, has anyone else made the switch and felt dumb for waiting this long?

Took a soaked clipboard to a jobsite in 2019 and never looked back, that rain saved my ass too.

Laughing at how we all needed a rainstorm to drag us into the 21st century. Bet your clipboard is still drying out somewhere in the truck.
