Best week I've had on site in months
Last Thursday in Grand Rapids everything just clicked. The concrete pour went smooth, subs showed up on time, and the inspector signed off in 10 minutes flat. Has anyone else had a day where the stars just align like that?

Used to think those perfect days were just tall tales guys told in the safety meeting, but last week totally flipped me on that. Had a Tuesday where the rebar was laid out perfect, the engineer showed up early with a smile, and we wrapped up a foundation pour before lunch even hit. Makes you wonder why it can't be like that more often, but I'll take it when it comes.

Heard a site super once say that those days are like catching a greased pig - you gotta just enjoy it while you got it. Read somewhere that the best crews don't fight the small stuff, they just let the rhythm take over. Makes me think about how much of it is luck and how much is just the stars lining up right. That engineer smiling and the rebar being perfect sounds like a unicorn day. Bet you walked off site feeling ten feet tall.

Hell yeah @jamieb80, that's the kind of day that keeps you coming back. Had one exactly like that last month where the concrete truck showed up early and the forms didn't fight us at all, felt like I was dreaming.
