My subcontractor schedule hack backfired in week 3 on a 40 unit build
Tried stacking drywall and paint crews on the same floors to cut 10 days off a 40 unit apartment job near Austin. Day one was smooth, drywall dust everywhere by day two. Paint crew filed a complaint and one guy quit over the mess. GC backed them up and now I'm running a messy two week overlap to fix it. Anyone else got burned trying to compress trade schedules like this?
