Superintendent told me my weekly look-ahead meetings were a waste of time, so I tracked what actually got done for 90 days | Construction Management - Free To Speak
90 days is a decent sample but I would want to know what you were measuring. A look ahead meeting can still be worth it even if the tasks don't all get done, since the point is catching problems early, not just checking boxes. In my experience the real value shows up when something goes sideways and everyone already knows the plan, not in the daily tally. Your mileage may vary but I would be careful about turning that tracking into proof the meetings are useless. It might just mean the meetings need fixing, not scrapping.
