TIL bringing submittals on a tablet instead of paper saves way more time than I thought

For 10 years I lugged around binders of submittals for every project. Switched to a rugged tablet 6 months ago after losing a set in the rain on a site in Flint. Has anyone else made the switch and found it speeds up approvals?

Read that a lot of inspectors actually prefer digital now, fewer mistakes.

@kimfisher is lucky he never had binders explode in a truck bed like mine did. Digital is fine for some things but I still see inspectors asking for paper copies half the time. Doesn't matter how fast you can pull it up if the reviewer hates screens.
