Bookkeeping app I hated for 6 months finally clicked after 1 call

Swore the dashboard was useless until their support guy showed me how to run weekly profit reports for each crew. Now I spend 20 minutes a week on books instead of 3 hours, anyone else have a tool that only made sense after talking to a human?

Wait, what exactly took you 6 months to figure out that took one call to solve? Like was it the report setup itself or just knowing that you COULD run those weekly reports in the first place? I'm asking because I've got a similar tool and the support docs are useless, but I keep putting off calling them. Half the time I feel like these apps hide their best features on purpose just to sell you on the "premium onboarding" later. Curious if the call was actually worth the 30 minutes of hold music or if you just got lucky with a rep who knew their stuff.
