Failed a nuke test in front of 3 electricians, caught it before power-on
I was pulling 200A feeder cable for a new sub panel in a shop out in Tacoma last Tuesday, and my torque wrench slipped on the lugs at 75 ft-lbs. I rechecked the whole connection and found one phase was barely seated, so I cracked it open and redid it before anyone flipped the breaker. Has anyone else had a close call like that where the mistake only showed up because you rechecked twice?
