A coworker in the back room told me my foils were 'too neat' and now I can't stop thinking about it
She's been doing hair 22 years, way longer than me. She said clients actually like a bit of imperfection because it looks more natural when it grows out. Since then I've loosened up my sectioning in the back and honestly the blend looks better on the curly-haired ladies. Has anyone else had a moment where an older stylist's weird advice just clicked for you months later?
