A former client's rant made me drop my stance on keratin treatments

I used to tell everyone keratin was a waste, but last Tuesday a client came in furious that her $350 treatment at another salon left her hair fried and brittle. She showed me the before photos and it hit me that the issue wasn't the treatment itself, it was the technician not neutralizing the solution properly. Has anyone else flipped their opinion on a service after seeing someone else's botched result?

Neutralizing is where most salons screw up, honestly. I've fixed more over-processed keratin jobs than I can count, and it's always the timing or the product sitting too long. Once you know what to look for, it's super obvious when someone rushed it.
