It's not even about skipping conditioner, it's about rejecting the whole idea that fine hair needs to be weighed down with product. That conditioning step trains your hair to be lazy and flat. My hair got so much better when I stopped trying to force it to act like thick hair and just worked with what it has. A light salt spray does more for my roots than any conditioner ever did. The entire haircare section is built for people with a different hair type.

Totally changed my hair game when I stopped using any conditioner at all, honestly. My fine hair was always flat by noon. Now I just use a tiny bit of mousse and a super lightweight leave-in spray. The difference is crazy, my hair actually has body all day. Feels weird to skip that conditioning step but it really works.

Your hair routine now sounds less like a beauty regimen and more like a delicate engineering project. Who knew skipping the basic stuff was the secret? My shower would feel empty without that conditioning step, like forgetting to put pants on. Guess the beauty industry has been lying to us about needing fifteen different bottles. Next you'll tell me you're building volume with just hope and a hair dryer.
