Had to choose between a classic bob or a shag for a client with fine hair and a round face, went with the shag for texture and it totally changed her vibe.
I layered it with shears from my Sam Villa set, and now I'm debating if adding texture is always better than a clean line for fine hair types, what's your take?

Nice call on the shag! For fine hair, I almost always go for texture over a blunt cut. A clean line can just fall flat and make thin hair look even thinner. Those shears are perfect for it, you can add just enough piecey-ness without taking away all the weight.

My friend got a blunt bob last year and it just sat there, like a sad little helmet. Her fine hair looked so flat until she got some layers chopped in. Total game changer for her face shape too.

You're right about a clean line just falling flat. I used to think blunt cuts were safer for fine hair, but seeing results like @karencampbell's friend changed my mind. Adding texture gives it a much better shape and movement.
