I finally switched from scissors to razor cutting for layers
Used to do all my layering with shears for like 8 years, thought razors were just a gimmick. Then I took a weekend class in Portland last spring and watched a stylist get this soft, lived-in texture that scissors just can't match. Now I've been doing razor cuts on about half my clients, mostly the ones with thicker hair or anyone wanting that wispy end look. Has anyone else made the jump and had a client complain about the grow-out phase, or is that just me?
