Spent $300 on a new steamer for the shop and it's been a game changer
I got tired of the old one taking forever to heat up and not holding enough water for a full day. This new one heats in under two minutes and the tank lasts through five or six full sets of towels. Has anyone else found a piece of equipment that really cut down on your wait time between clients?

Wait, it heats up in under two minutes? That's insane. My old one takes like fifteen.

Yeah, that two minute heat up is a game changer! I had an old slow one too, and getting a new one with quick start totally changed my morning routine.

Right, @logan_mitchell, fifteen minutes is brutal. That’s like an eternity when you’re half asleep and just want coffee. I actually vacuum wrap my old clipper cord with a velcro strap so it’s not a tangled mess. That alone saved me a solid minute every morning because I’m not fighting the knot. On top of that, I keep a cheap spray bottle of water next to the clipper station. A quick mist on the blades right before I turn it on helps them glide way better and cuts down on any weird tugging during that warm up phase.

My buddy Jake at the barber shop on 5th street. He got a new clipper cleaning station last month. The old UV box took ten minutes per set of blades. This new liquid dip tank thing does three sets in ninety seconds. He said it cut his cleaning time in half, easy. Lets him flip his chair way faster on busy days.
