Unpopular opinion: I hit 500 blowouts this quarter and it felt weird

My bookkeeper showed me the number and I realized I've been working on autopilot, not really connecting. Does anyone else get that feeling after a big volume stretch?

Sounds like you need a vacation from your own hands.

The autopilot thing is real and it sneaks up on you. What helped me was taking a few days off from taking new work just to look back at my old appointments and actually remember the people I helped. I went through my notes and recalled conversations, which sounds boring but it really snapped me back into why I started this in the first place. Also, I tried changing up my routine a bit, like listening to different music or podcasts during work to keep my brain engaged. It's a weird feeling to be good at something and feel empty about it, but that little reset did a lot for me.

Yeah, read an article about that autopilot feeling. Said it's super common after hitting big numbers.

Totally get what @jana881 means. It's like your brain checks out once you cross a finish line you set. The hard part is finding a new goal that actually matters to you.
