Why I've sworn off keratin treatments for good

Last month, a long-time client came in with severe breakage from repeated keratin treatments. I told her I wouldn't do another one, even though she insisted. I think these treatments do more damage than people admit. I've seen hair become brittle and lose its curl pattern permanently. Even with proper care, the chemicals can weaken the hair over time. Am I crazy for turning down business over this?

I had a client who almost bought a timeshare. We ran the numbers on the yearly fees for the next twenty years and he went pale. Sometimes they just need to see the real cost, not just the monthly payment.
