Am I the only one who got humbled by a 40 year operator about reading the load chart at his retirement lunch?
Guy who trained me back in 08 hung it up last week and at his lunch he said he spent his first 5 years doing nothing but memorizing load charts by hand, no apps, no computer. I've been relying on the LMI so hard lately that I couldn't tell you the capacity of our 60 ton at 40 foot radius without looking it up. Anyone else catch themselves getting lazy with the math now that everything's on a screen?
