The day everything went right for ONCE on a roof job
Last Tuesday I was setting AC units on a flat roof over in Newark and the wind was DEAD calm for the first time in weeks. My tagline guy, Mike, actually called out the weights right and I didn't have to reset a single pick. Has anyone else had one of those perfect days where nothing goes sideways?

It's like the universe decided to give you a break from the usual chaos, makes you wonder why it can't just be that way more often.

Respectfully, I gotta push back a bit on that. The universe doesn't "give" breaks, it's more like we just get lucky sometimes or make our own luck. Those calm moments are just random gaps in the noise, not some cosmic favor. If it was always that way, we'd probably just find something else to complain about.

Wait till the next job when the wind kicks up and Mike forgets his phone on the roof. It’s like the universe gives you one freebie just to mess with your head for the next three weeks.
