Heads up about those 'premium prompt generator' subscriptions

I signed up for one that promised unique fantasy ideas, but it just recycled the same five tropes. Wasted about $60 over three months before I quit. Anyone know a good free resource instead?

Ugh, same thing happened to me with a sci-fi one... total rip-off.

Check out the free writing subreddits. They have daily prompt threads that are way better than that scam. I got burned by a similar service last year. It's all recycled garbage with a fancy label. Save your money and just talk to other writers online. The community stuff is always more creative anyway.

My cousin lost fifty bucks on a poetry prompt service last month.
