Rant: I spent $80 on a 'premium' writing prompt book that was just recycled blog posts

I bought it online last month, thinking it would have fresh ideas. It was just 200 pages of basic prompts like 'write about a rainy day' that you can find for free. The whole thing felt like a cheap copy-paste job from a free website. Has anyone found a good source for truly original prompts that's worth the money?

Ever tried looking at old magazines for prompts?

Old magazines are a goldmine for weird, specific details you'd never think of. The ads alone could spark a dozen stories.

Yeah, it's the same with those fancy recipe books. Pay thirty bucks for something that's just the first page of google results printed out. Or those "life hack" compilations that are just common sense with nice pictures. Feels like a whole industry of repackaging free stuff in a nice cover. Makes you check reviews twice for everything now.
