Sidewalk chalk scenes near my bus stop turned into daily writing starts

Every morning, I see new chalk drawings on the pavement by the elementary school. I now use them as quick setting prompts to kick off my writing sessions. What local sights do you use for warm-up ideas?

Have you ever thought about leaving a cryptic reply in chalk yourself? Maybe the kid who draws them will add your suggestion to the next scene.

Actually messing with the art would probably ruin the fun for everyone. Better to just enjoy the mystery as it is.
