That one critique from a writing forum changed my short story completely
Ngl, I posted a prompt response last Tuesday and some user named SilverQuill said my dialogue sounded like a robot reading a menu. I rewrote it the way people actually talk, and the same piece got picked for a weekend feature on the sub. Has anyone else had a random nitpick turn out to be the exact fix you needed?
