Wait, how long were you sitting in the 600s for? Because I was stuck there for like three full years and it drove me CRAZY. I think the thing that finally did it for me was slowing down my whole approach. I used to rush through rounds just trying to get a good score, but then I started really paying attention to my weak spots instead of just playing for fun. @moore.beth is totally right about that grit thing - it's not about one big change, it's about grinding through those small fixes. For me, it was getting way better at managing my putts. Once I stopped trying to sink every long birdie and just focused on leaving myself easy two-putts, everything else started to click. Now I'm in the 720s and honestly it feels like I can breathe again out there.

Anyone else feel like the 600s are basically purgatory but with more golf carts? I was stuck there for like 4 years if I'm being honest. The thing that finally broke me out was realizing I was playing like I was still in high school trying to impress people. I started just aiming for the middle of the green every time instead of going for every hero shot. Sounds boring but my score dropped 30 points in like two months. Still laugh at myself every time I try a dumb risky shot and end up in a bunker.

Years of being stuck in the 600s" - that grit is exactly what'll keep you climbing now. What was the biggest single thing that finally pushed you through?
