Can we talk about how one fake shipping email cost my coworker $600 in gift cards
She got a text last Tuesday saying a package was held at the post office and needed a $2.99 redelivery fee, and she paid it with her card like it was nothing. Two days later someone ran up $600 in gift card charges on that same card, and her bank in Mesa took 3 weeks to put the money back. Has anyone else seen the package redelivery texts getting way more real looking lately?
