I used to think my old passwords were fine until my Netflix account got hacked last week

Someone in Moscow logged into my account and changed the email, locking me out. I realized I'd been using the same password for years across a bunch of sites. I had to contact support and finally set up a password manager, which I should have done ages ago. Anyone have a good method for cleaning up old, reused passwords across a ton of accounts?

Just read about doing a password audit with your manager's built in tools!

Ugh, that's the worst. Getting locked out of your own stuff is such a gut punch. My old email got taken over once because I used the same simple password everywhere, and it was a nightmare to untangle. Good on you for setting up a manager, that's the move. Cleaning up old passwords is a pain but so worth it for the peace of mind.
