Warning: My old password manager from 2019 just sent me a weird email
Got an email last week from the service I used back in Phoenix, saying my 'legacy account' needed an urgent update. I hadn't touched it in three years since I switched to a different one. The email looked real, but the link went to a weird IP address, not their normal site. Anyone else get a phishing attempt that looked like it came from a service you don't even use anymore?

That "weird IP address" is the only red flag you needed. Phishing attempts often target old accounts because people are less careful with them. You did the right thing by not clicking.
