Hit 47 dad jokes in one dinner and my kids didn't even groan

Last Saturday we had a family dinner at my sister's place in Cleveland. I started telling jokes before the salad came out. By the time dessert rolled around I had told 47 puns and one-liners. Nobody groaned or rolled their eyes they just kinda smiled politely. That number 47 really surprised me because usually I get cut off after like three. Makes me wonder if I'm losing my touch or if they've just gotten numb to it. Anyone else ever count their jokes in a single sitting and get a weird number?

I mean, that "just smiled politely" part is your answer right there. They've probably heard all your hits before and now they're just being nice about it. Maybe mix in some brand new material next time, stuff they haven't heard, and see if you can get an actual groan out of them.
