Overheard my kid's friend say 'that's so old school' about a landline phone

I was picking up my son from his buddy's house last Tuesday and one of the kids said a cordless phone was 'from the dinosaur age.' Made me think about how my first job painting houses back in 2004, we used paper ledgers and walked checks to the bank. Now I run payroll from my phone while standing on a ladder. Has anyone else had a moment where a random comment made you feel like a living history exhibit?

Guess those kids never had to blow into a Nintendo cartridge to make it work. We're basically walking artifacts at this point.

My uncle still has his original NES in the basement, and every time we try to fire it up we have to blow those cartridges just right... it's funny how we all learned that trick but can't set the clock on a microwave anymore.
