Shoutout to my 7 year old for booing my best dad joke at his own birthday party last Saturday
I dropped the one about the scarecrow winning an award because he was outstanding in his field, and he just stared at me and said that one is from 1982. I tried three more and got nothing, so does anyone have a joke that actually lands with a second grader these days?

My 9 year old nephew told me last month that my knock knock jokes were cringe, so I feel your pain. Second graders right now are obsessed with stuff like poop humor and video game jokes, so try something about Among Us or a Roblox character instead. The scarecrow one is a classic but these kids have YouTube shorts feeding them new jokes every single day. Honestly the best move is to ask him what jokes his friends tell at lunch and just steal those. Works every time.
