The dad joke about the broken vacuum cleaner that got 300 upvotes last month...
I still can't believe that joke about the vacuum cleaner that was 'sucking' at its job made it to the top of the court. Three hundred people voted to keep it? That thing was a total groaner and not in a good way. Meanwhile, my pun about the missing pencil that was 'pointless' got flagged and removed within ten minutes. What changed in just a few weeks? Did the standards drop or did everyone suddenly forget what a real dad joke sounds like? I'm asking honestly, has anyone else noticed the court letting way too many weak jokes slide lately?

Hilarious how that happens. My own dad joke about a jammed printer that was "out of paper and out of patience" got five downvotes before the mods even saw it. Guess my jokes are like my coffee, strong but nobody wants to drink them. Totally feel your pain on the vacuum thing, that one barely deserved a courtesy chuckle.

And yeah @juliarodriguez you nailed it, the printer one was way better than that vacuum joke. My wife and I were just talking about this last night. I posted a joke about a faulty toaster that was always making dark bread and they deleted it in twenty minutes for being "low effort." Meanwhile that vacuum thing was basically just a pun on the word sucking, which is the most obvious dad joke setup in existence. The standards definitely slid. Feels like the mods are only flagging stuff when they personally don't find it funny, not based on any real rule.
