Asked my ISP for my browsing history, got a 47 page PDF instead
Last month I filed a request under our state privacy law just to see what my internet provider had on me. Took 6 weeks but they finally sent over a 47 page PDF with every site I'd visited, timestamps, and even my location pings from the router. What got me is they didn't even try to hide it, they just handed it over like it was normal. I checked my neighbor's wifi name in there too since we share the same node, and that's when it hit me how much they can see. Has anyone else actually pulled their own data from a company and been surprised at the detail, or am I overthinking this?

Start reading through mine and you realize how much of your life is just a pattern someone else can see from a mile away. It's like when you check your bank statements and see all those little $4 coffees adding up, except this time it's your brain and your habits laid out in black and white. The scary part isn't that they have it, it's that we all just accept it because we've got nowhere else to go. You're not overthinking it, you're just the first one in your neighborhood to actually look under the hood. Once you see it, you can't unsee it, and that's the real kicker.
