Hit 50 people unsubscribed from my data collection list this morning
I run a small email list for my HVAC side gig, and I finally got 50 people to click that 'delete my data' link I put in every email. It sounds backwards, but seeing that number grow makes me feel like I am actually respecting people's privacy instead of just talking about it. Has anyone else tracked how many folks opt out of your data sharing and felt good about it?

It's a good reminder that most people appreciate clarity over being tricked into staying.

50 people actually read your privacy link instead of just deleting the email? That's a whole different kind of win. Almost makes you want to throw a party for the unsubscribe button. Maybe put a little confetti emoji next to the data deletion link next time. "Click here to be freed from my spam, congrats!

Funny how we celebrate tiny wins like this but ignore the 500 other emails that got trashed, @lewis.mila.
